Alanya Waffle Cafe Coffee by Mom Otantik

Saw this place on our way to dinner on the same street. The hostess Hilal was so kind and waited by closing time for us to come back and have a delicious waffle dessert after our dinner. Wonderful and unique cafe with equally impressive hospitality. We will return.

A nice cafe, the nice girls who work there create a cozy and calm atmosphere, brew delicious coffee and make sweet waffles (which they don't skimp on the filling), everything in this place is conducive to a person feeling good and enjoying the moment, you will definitely want to come back here more than once

I stayed in a hotel close to this place and found it on Google maps so really wanted to visit. First night I came too late so I came again next day. What a place! You could see so much love in each detail. There are 2 floors. The second one got big terrace with vintage furniture, also very authentic details inside. You can just stand and watch it and think of the story of all these things. Then comes food. So tasty. I had otantik toast which was served with salad, tomatoes and very delicious olives. Then I had otantik waffle which was a pure delight. The waiter was very polite. I waited a bit long but it was all worth it. Sadly i did not meet the owner in person but i talked on Instagram with him and he is a great generous person. Please visit this authentic place in Alanya! Best regards from Ukraine.

This place is an absolute hidden gem. Tucked away on a back street away from all the chaos this vintage style cafe is truly an amazing place. Their speciality is their waffle, which is like a crispy crepe that has been rolled, filled with delight. It is a much lighter, feel-good and healthier version to a traditional waffle and is made fresh to order with homemade waffle mix. Not only the crepe but the owner is the most warm and welcoming person in the entire alanya, you feel right at home. Additionally the vibe of the place is very cozy and warm. Every fixture, fitting, chair, table and decoration has a very interesting story and truly unique origin which can definitely be felt with the rustic vibe of the place. There are antiques, chess boards so you can play and plenty of other things on the menu in addition to the waffle, including a Turkish breakfast with locally sourced ingredients and other dishes too. The tea, takes Turkish tea to a whole new level, it additionally blended with a Sri Lankan tea leaf, throughly soaked, washed, cold brewed and filtered for an incredibly smooth tea. I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning.

Very, very nice place with absolutely incredible waffles! If you are in Alanya, this should be a must visit place for sure. :) And Mom is super friendly, I loved this place!

JUST AMAZING! We loved it so much! Omelette, gözleme, waffles, and coffee were so delicious and made with a big heart and soul. The owner is a really nice guy, very welcoming and he really loves what he makes. Highly recommend. Definitely, we will come back.

It is definitely a place that deserves its name, a very creative friend, you feel the old school style and authentic word in the business, and the waffles with their own unique taste are very wonderful.

The best place we visited in Alanya! The people were very nice, we got big portions of very tasty food and the atmosphere was just amazing The menu is not big, but every dish was very well prepared and the prices were really good too.
